Our next “living concept”: gastronomy and the food service industry  

 

“When I first decided to open a restaurant, I was turned down by several banks. It was the late ‘80s and many restaurants were failing. I refused to give up because I knew that I had a good concept”. Twenty years later Emeril Lagasse is well-known as “the” American celebrity chef but also as the tycoon steering an empire whose products and restaurants generate an estimated US$150 million annually in revenue.  

A good concept is the key to any successful business story but it is also the connection bringing together real estate and gastronomy.
